今日から私は特権階級の仲間入りとなりました。
身体障害者の車両タグを交付してもらって、
これでどの建物でも入口に最も近いところに駐車できます。
今日のドクターアポイントメントの際の問診票に
このタグを申請するかどうかの項目があることに初めて気が付いたのです。
今まで気がつかなかったことが悔やまれます。
数十メートルを松葉杖で移動した時、汗だくとなっていたことが何度か。
ドクターが書いてくれた証明書を持って市のライセンス部局に行って待つこと約30分、
その場で交付してもらえました。
身体障害者を始め弱者をいたわると言うのは
先進国の優れている部分です。
アパートメントなどの住居、食料品店や学校図書館などの公共機関のどこであっても、
もっとも入り口に近いところに障害者用の駐車スペースが確保されています。
そのスペースのおかげで本当に助かるんですよね〜
現在身をもって体験しています。
Today I became a member of the privileged class.

I noticed for the first time that on the questionnaire for my doctor's appointment today,
there was a section asking if I wanted to apply for this tag.
I regret that I hadn't noticed it before.
There were several times I was sweating as I moved a few dozen meters on crutches.
I took the certificate written by the doctor to the city's licensing department
and waited for about 30 minutes.
I was issued the certificate on the spot.
It is one of the best things about developed countries that they take care of the disabled and other vulnerable people.
No matter where you live, whether it's an apartment building, a grocery store, a school, library, or any other public institution,
There is a parking space for the handicapped closest to the entrance.
Those spaces are really helpful, aren't they?
I'm experiencing this firsthand.
