さすがにオークランドの保安状況

今朝ホテル前の路上に駐車してあるレンタカーに戻ってみるとこの有様でした。さすがオークランド。お目こぼしは無いようで。安宿ホテルのため駐車場がないんですよね。今晩どこに停めたら良いんだろう？
でもよかった部分はありますよ。
後部の小さな窓しか割られていなかったこと。
数年前サンフランシスコダウンタウンに駐車した時は助手席の窓がやられたため高速道路の通行ができずにその日のうちに交換せずを得ず。これなら土曜夕刻まで持ちこたえます。さらに荷物は車中に残さなかったため盗難されずに済みました。
気を取り直してランチ中っす。

This morning I went back to the rental car parked on the street in front of the hotel and this is what I saw. That's Oakland. It seems that they don't care about us. There's no parking at the hotel because it's a cheap hotel. I don't know where I'm going to park tonight.
But there were some good points.
Only the small rear window was broken.
When I parked it in downtown San Francisco a few years ago, the passenger window was smashed and I had to replace it that day because I couldn't get on the freeway. This one will last until Saturday evening. In addition, I did not leave any luggage in the car, so it was not stolen.
I’m taking lunch now trying to reset my depressed feelings.
