ホトトギス、花の名前でしたか　鳥を連想しました　変わった蕊の花ですね

【若葉や花にある斑点模様が、
　鳥のホトトギスの胸にある模様と
　似ていることからこの名に。
　葉にある斑点は
　花が咲く頃には消えるらしい】
が由来ですって！
