Did you know the western half of Japan uses 60hz electricity while eastern half of Japan uses 50hz electricity?

This is one of the reason why the western half of Japan does not conserve electric power while the eastern half suffer huge electric shortage. This came about because the east imported the power generation equipments from Germany while the west imported from the USA.
