You need to specify GSM or CDMA.
When you buy an unlocked cellular phone, you need to understand two standards in the cellular communications. One is called GSM (Global System for Mobile) and another is CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access). Why?
Because one cellphone is design to work with or the other not both at the same time. You need to know your carriers method of communication to select the phone.
In the US, GSM is used by T-Mobile and AT&T and CDMA is used by Verizon and Sprint.
