I took 12:50pm flight out of Hawaii and arrived in Seattle 9:30pm. It was little less than 6 hour flight. Although I did not have very much time for sight seeing, I met several people from Executives Associations from Canada and the USA.
It was very interesting and educational. We also met a few local business people and started dialogues. I do not know if Hawaii can be another market for us, but it is a very interesting market.
4.35 for single latter at Starbucks in Hilton. They don't even have free
wi-fi. They said it is owned by Hilton. I guess they are not looking for any
repeat business.
Last three days, I have been using Sprint 3G/4G Mobile Hot Spot (pictured) in Hawaii. My room does not have wireless access (there is a wired access but iPad does not have RJ45).
Every few minuets, this thing stops working and I need to restart. It is very frastrating.
I am leaving Hawaii on 12:50pm flight. I will be arriving in Seattle around 9:30pm.
I did not have much time for sight seeing but that was not a readon why I came here anyway. I came here for International Executives Association and to meet some companies and people in Hawaii. I accoplished what I came here for and actually I learned a few things at IEA conference which I can use in my business.
Mahalo to IEA and Hawaii Executives. I will be back.
I came to Hawaii when I was 15 years old. That was my first experience being outside of Japan. For 15 year old boy, this was the USA. Food, People, Culture, Beach, Bikini, Aloha ... I was shocked. This place opened my eyes to the richness of the life. Besides, everyone spoke Japanese. I said to myself, I think I can live in the USA.
This experience lead me to my decision to go to college in the USA. When I arrived in Los Angles, I found out nobody spoke Japanese. But that was another story. I have one more day here and fling back to Seattle.
I am at Seatac airport waiting for my flight to Hawaii. International Executives Association Conference starts tonight. This is my first visit to Hawaii in ten years.
