I was at Kerry Park in Queen Ann Hill. It used to have very old brick apartments. Now it is a new building and looks very nice. It must be expensive.
Seattle is one of the most beautiful cities in the US even when it is raining. Don't you agree?
I am in Seattle almost all day today. I have one more meeting in downtown before I head back to Bellevue. I had little time, so went to a park overseeing Seattle downtown. It is wet bat still a nice view.
I went to TWO UNION SQUARE building in Seattle downtown. The elevator there ask you to press which floor you are going before get on. Once you get on, there is no button to press. Interesting.
With all the places, freeway exits are one of the worst places to have an accident. That is exactly what happen yesterday at downtown Seattle exit.
Did you do something new today?
How about this week?

If I don't do anything new, I have no job at PSPINC.
Japan has developed most comprehensive pubic transportation system in the world. You can actually travel pretty much everywhere without having a car.
The main train system was called Japan National Rail (JNR) and was wend by the government. In april 1, 1987, JNR was privatized and became Japan Rail (JR).
So, most of public transportation system, train, buses, airlines and taxies are not funded by the tax money. It is wonderful. I think the US should learn from that.
I had a meeting in Kobe this morning. The next door to the meeting was "Center for Developmental Biology" or 理化学研究所 発生・再生科学総合研究センター in Japanese. I did not know this place was in Kobe.
