2020 is coming to an end. I haven't been to Japan this year except for a trip from February 4th to February 17th. That was around the time when the coronavirus started, and I couldn't imagine that I wouldn't be able to go to Japan for another 10 months.
After that, there were no customers from Japan, and I started working remotely in March. At the same time as remote work began, for the staff who had to come to the office, we withdrew the dress code (jeans are now OK) and we started serving lunch daily. This is still going on now as we approach the end of the year. At this point, 30 - 40% of our 50 employees come to work every day.
Despite this situation, we have been able to release several new services this year. We would have liked to develop them at a faster pace, but I think this is the best we can do in the coronavirus disaster. We hope to continue this pace in 2021. I would also like to focus on marketing in 2021. We are considering various means of marketing, and we hope that the experience we gain through these means will be useful to you.

And CCP is very good at doing this. Sometime it is "Money", sometime is it an "Investment", sometime it is "Sex", sometime it is a "Force" but CCP is buying many people and companies in the US. It will not show on the balance sheet. It is beyond that.
I am very amazed how deep CCP was able to manipulate US media and politicians (left and right) and even a court.
When the US lost a war to the Vietnam, CCP was behind the Vietnam. CCP know they cannot win bu force or even a trade war. CPP can win when American people are bought.
We will know what went on in 2020 maybe in 45 years. I hope by then the US is stall not a part of CCP.

Companies and individuals use Social Media like Blog, Facebook, Instagram, Linked In, Twitter, YouTube, TicToc to broadcast their ideas and gathers many followers possible to create a large network.
But the network you create is based on the line that is easy to break. In order to enhance their network, companies and people must work hard to keep feeding the ideas to the network.
Unless you are making money fro creating a large network, your goal should not be a network itself. You need to create a long-lasting relationship which is mutual. In Jaoan, there is a word called 絆 (Kizuna) ... This is beyond network. It is a bond between people.

The coronavirus has changed what we can do. You can no longer sit in a restaurant and enjoy a lively meal, or talk to customers in a conference room. In addition, it’s usually hard to get to them, or in my case, to get to Japan from the US. Meetings are usually conducted over video conference. Still, my company is doing well and it's not like sales are down. On the other hand, restaurants, retail stores, and the tourism industry have seen a sharp drop in customers.
Under these circumstances, people naturally spend more time at home. When this happens, businesses focused on “home improvement” are generating more sales than ever before. Also, as people are less likely to go shopping, they are more inclined to use online stores. Many businesses are taking this opportunity to not only enhance their website, but to also learn how to make their own website. I think it's wonderful.
In my opinion, the key to the future is DIY. It is wrong to think that only professionals can make a website. If you have good tools, you can make a website yourself. You have to think about things like responsiveness and SEO, but if you have good tools, you can make a website. I also made my own website (https://uchikura.co) by myself. I created it using WebdeXpress, a website management tool that comes with our hosting service - Dreamersi ( https://dreamersi.com ).

Living in the U.S., I can see how Japan is viewed by Americans. In short, you can tell where America is looking based on the amount of topics that appear in American media.
To put it bluntly, there is no mention of Japan in the U.S., it is not a subject of news. The replacement of the Japanese Prime Minister is hardly reported. It’s not just Japan, Korea and Vietnam are also not mentioned. Even when it comes to China, they are not reported in the media that much. It's more common to hear about Hong Kong than China.
Europe, Africa, and India are not covered in the media. Canada, Mexico, Central America, South America, and even the Middle East (where problems are occurring) are not reported on. The U.S. doesn't see the world unless something big is going on. Many Americans probably can't even find Japan on a world map.
In any case, most people in the US do not have a global view. What is important in the U.S. is its own people, with freedom as the most important thing. If Japan really wants to ally itself with the U.S., it needs to deepen its relationship with the American people. However, Japanese people are not good at communicating. They are quiet, slow to make decisions, and no one takes responsibility. Moreover, Japan is now closed to the U.S. due to the Pandemic. More and more, the American people are forgetting about us. Some people may be okay with that, but I want Japan to stand out more.

The answer is "No".
It will take a true miracle to have President Trump win this election.
No mater what the people say about fraud or other anomalies about this election, the only way it can bet turned is when a lot of people show the outrage. At this point lawmakers are not willing to do something other than status quo.
But the election is not all lost for Trump supporters. I have never seen so big distrust in the election system and the Governemnt. This wii have a negative effect of Biden's Presidency. People will be more critical than ever before. People will be more critical media and big tech.
I am very interested to see what is going to happen in next two years. This is an exciting time. President Trump opened someone Pandora's Boxes and Biden stepped on so many minds. I do not what the winner is. I am happy to be witnessing this exciting new chapter.

I got my heart stent done at Virgina Mason yesterday and I was discharged this morning. I took a day off yesterday to rest and being monitored at the hospital. I will take next few days easy.
I did not have any symptom but they found the problem with the annual checkup. I am b=very happy to get this done before it affected anything. It us amazing you make a very small incision on my right wrist and go in t fix my heart. I am up few hours after. The medical technology is amazing.

I've been an entrepreneur for 33 years now and I am sometimes asked why I started my business. I've been thinking about the answer to this question for a long time and I've come to believe that the reason I started my business is because I wanted to test myself. I didn't want to be in a company where someone told me to do a job and if I succeeded, someone else would praise me and if I failed, I would be responsible.
I'm sure some of you reading this newsletter are thinking about going out on your own. One thing I can tell you is that if you think starting your own business will give you more free time than you've ever had before, you shouldn't pursue it.
When you go out on your own, you will have more work to do that you didn't have to do before. Including things such as taxes, accounting, compliance, and payroll. From the day you start your own business, you will no longer have an accounting department that will give you receipts and process them for you. Taxes are not withheld at your own expense like they were when you were getting paid. You have to arrange your own health insurance. Even your cell phone service is not provided by someone else.
People that you have been associating with may stop associating with you when you go out on your own. The people you have worked with may no longer be your friends. When you go out on your own, you are now the representative of the company, even if you are a one-person company. You have to find your own customers, and you also have to think about funding. That's what it means to be an entrepreneur. Nevertheless, I'm glad that I became an independent businessman. If you are thinking about going independent, please come talk to me anytime. For those of you who have become independent, please come and talk to me anytime. Once you become independent, it's hard to find someone to talk to. Please let me be the one you can chat with. I have a lot to talk about too.

I just receive an email saying McRib is back at Macdonald's.
Did you know McRib debut back in 1981 ... I Googled it.
I remember eating this at McDonald's in from of my college in Azusa, California.
I was taking marketing class in the college and they told me why McRib is not in the regular menu. Here is what I heard.
When people eats something good, they remember it and keep eating it. If people eat enough of the good tasting food, they will start get used to it and get tired of it. So, the restaurant should not serve good tasting food all the time. They should sell so-so foods so people forget what they taste like and they come back again and again. That is the reason why McRib will not make a regular menu.

There are many hearing and litigations going on about the 2020 presidential elections. People can agree or disagree but you cannot really ignore what is going on. Right now we are talking about battleground states but how about our state, the State of Washington.
We all assume it is a blue state and no challenge is made ... ever. Is that right. I know at least one person who is not an US citizen receiving the mail-in ballot.

There was an inspection at our company by the fire department. There were few things we need to fix but nothing major. The worse offenses are some people joined the extension cord to gather to make the lines longer. That is a No No. Another thing is that we should not use doorstop if the door has an automatic closure.
Starting this year, the fire department start charging for the inspection. I wonder how much bill we will receive.

When creating a website, generally you are asked about your goals, and then create it with those in mind. This alone can make a more effective website than just asking for specific colors and shapes. However, this alone is still not enough. Do you know why?
Doing it this way only contains the thoughts of the person sending out the information. Like anything, when you create a product, you need to understand what your customer wants. You can't sell what you want to sell by creating only what you want to sell. To take your website to the next level, you need to design it from the perspective of what your customers wants.
To do this, start by understanding who your customer is. From there, think about what kind of words and imagery will attract that customer. This will fundamentally change the way you create your website. If it doesn't work, rebuild it right away. Instead of spending a lot of money to create a website once, I believe it's better to go through a trial-and-error process until you have a website that suits your business.

Instead I ordered MacOS Pre loaded PC.
It arrived today.
It is comparable to Mac Pro costing more than double of what I paid.
This machine is not cheap by any means.
