Here is the picture of the ride I saw yesterday in Seoul. No seat belts, no safety net ... I try to upload vide to YouTube but was not successful. I did not know you are not allowed to upload uncensored video to YouTube in Korea. If you would like to see video, please visit my facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/uchikura/
The sun came up over the mountains 6:37am. It is about 30F outside. Looks like it is going to be a nice day here in Seoul. I will be leaving to Seattle on Monday. I will do some sightseeing with my mother today.
She did not like hot Korean food (bibimbap) yesterday. I have to be careful.
The economy must be booming here in Korea.
Can you see all the constructions in distance?
There are at least 20 new huge bridges being built.
What have they done right?
I thought they were bankrupt a few years back and borrowed money from the World Bank. What have they done? We should learn from them.
What is Se Vo Re???
Well, it is "Chevrolet". Like Japanese language, "Chevrolet" is an impossible pronunciation in Korean.
I left Japan today and arrive in Seoul Korea today. At Incheon airport, there is a radiation checkpoint. But unlike news I heard in Japan, it is not mandatory. They set this up to for people who came from Japan to assure them they are okay.
There is a big difference.
180 mSv level of radiation was reported by people who got radiation burn yesterday at the plant.
What is that mean?
Well, this chard will put it in perspective.

Three Tokyo Electric workers were exposed to high level of radiation this morning. They were working in so called turbine room where normally has no radiation. Two of those workers were taken to hospital for possible beta-ray burn.
They are just taking too long. Longer they wait, higher the radiation will be. They need to act faster or they will never get close enough to fix. That means, they have to wait the core to burn out ... that will take months and years and turning easter Japan unlivable.
I went to Kojima Electric Mega Store in Nisinomiya today. We are over 400 miles away from Tokyo and has no problem here, but people bought out all emergency electric items and send them to Tokyo.
Just one section of the store is totally empty. Now people are buying all thye battled water here to be sent to Tokyo.
Even at High School baseball ... the sign in the back is "GANBAROU NIPPON" ... "Let's Be Strong, Japan."
The green car on the right is called Daihatsu NAKED. Interesting naming.
