When does your job end when you take a message? It is all depends on how well you want to do your job in your company. Here are some options.
- Write down the message on the pad and leave it on the desk of the person.
If you do not do that, you have no hope. If you are a receptionist at the busy company, that may be all you can do. But if you are not hired as a receptionist and happened to pickup a phone and took message, you may want to
Write down the message
Leave the message on the desk
Call later to find out if the person responded (make sure the message was delivered.)
If you can do that, you are more than the receptionist. You just became an owner of that message. There are more thing you can do than just write the message down.
Here is something that I don't see very often. Something made in Japan.
Fourteen is one of the small golf equipment manufacturers in Japan. The equipments they produce are very poplar among the professionals and low handicap amateurs.
Although, the pricing you see here are much less than what they sell for in Japan, they are very expensive in the US market. They have not done the homework. That is very unfortunate.
They have one of the best wedges in the market, but their price of $169 is about $40 to $50 higher than brand mane wedges like Titleist, Cleveland, Callaway and Ping.
I can't find anything that is made in the USA. Does this country produce anything any more? It is very sad. Also, there is not much I can find that is made in Japan either.
Los Angeles has the second largest Japanese community in the US after New York. We are starting to look at possibilities to expand our service to Japanese community in greater Los Angeles area.
The first step is to place an advertisement on Japanese free paper called US Lighthouse. We are already getting some calls from this advertisement. It is encouraging.
