I checked in and waiting for a boarding call to my flight to Japan. Nice sunny day today. Next post will be from Tokyo. See you.
I am starting two week business trip to Japan today. I will post some pictures from Japan.
I have a business trip to Japan starting tomorrow. The current exchange rate is about 90 Yen to US$1. Yen is very strong. This makes a can of Coke (120 yen) $1.33 equivalent. Hotel (New Otani, Tokyo) is about $255 which is not bad compared to hotels in New York.
Our company watch exchange rate very carefully because over 50% of revenue comes in Japanese yen. Higher Yen is not good for may travel, but it is good for my company.
I found this sign in Japan last time I was in Japan.
I am leaving to Japan tomorrow for two weeks.
We had sushi for lunch today. Home made.
We just finished the seminar on how to use PSPINC email broadcasting system. 17 people attended.
The Alternative Datacenter construction permit was approved today September 24, 2009 and construction is forecasted to start in the upcoming weeks.
The Alternative datacenter will keep our clients Web & Email up and running even when there is a problem at the Fisher Plaza primary PSPINC data center location.
I was at Seattle Executives Board Meeting at 7:30am in the morning. I am not a morning person, especially since I stop drinking coffee, it seems more difficult to wake up in the morning.
But at 7:00am, there is no traffic going downtown Seattle. It is actually a very nice drive in the morning. Next year, when I become a president, I will be holding the BOD meeting at PSPINC (East Side). That will increase my sleeping time by 15 minuets.
We had a lot accomplished today.
I do not like dirty carpets ... I hate spots. So I purchased carpet cleaning machine from COSTCO online. I saw this machine on the TV (infomercial) and wanted to buy one. But I did not want to buy it from anyone I do not know or I have never shopped before.
Then I saw it on COSTCO online. I have never purchased anything from COSTCO that I regret before. So, I did not hesitate to buy it from them. I hope our company someday will earn the same trust from customers.
This is a picture of PSP ECO Notebook with ECO pen. There are 5 different colors. Which color do you like?
