I saw this in Japan.

I saw this in Japan.
This is a picture of a model house (house display) in Japan. I noticed the metal shutters outside of the windows to protect homes from the high wind of typhoons. I have never seen this in the US.

Don’t you think it will sell in the US???

Good Deal on Macintosh

thread
Good Deal on Macintosh
Mac is expensive ... I hear that a lot. And I think if you are just looking at the cost of hardware and OS, it is true. But as for a total cost of ownership, I don't think Mac is any more expensive than PCs.

Once in a while, you see some good price in the Mac hardware. I found one today. $599 for the prev. version MacBook (Black). It only has 1GB of memory and 80GB of hard disk, but you can upgrade them if you want.

Make sure you buy "Apple Care" when you buy any Mac. It covers your Mac for three years. PSPINC or I make not money ... It is just a recommendation.

From cloudy Japan

thread
From cloudy Japan
I traveled from Seattle to Kansai yesterday, The first leg of my trip was SEA to NRT. It was almost 10 hours and last two hours of the flight was really bumpy. It was so bad that they have to cancel second meal service.

The code name of the flight was Northwest 007 but the plain was painted DELTA. Inside the plain, there are things that says NWA and DELTA. It is in transition I guess.

The second leg of trip was from NRT to KIX (Kansai International Airport). KIX is man made island ... supposed to be sinking few inches every year. The flight I took was NWA 084 and it was an international flight (although it was flying within Japan). I went through health check, immigration and customs in Osaka.

This was really a first time they had people at health check. Actually, we had health inspection people come on board the cabin when I got to Narita. Japanese government is treating swine flu like some kind of killer virus.

Well, I have a weekend to relax. Have a good weekend to you all.

BTW, I have noticed one of the Seattle Executive Association member companies is starting to use Twitter.com. If you have Twitter account, please support them by following. http://twitter.com/SchwartzBros

Fake iPhone???

thread
Fake iPhone???
I don't usually read any SPAM email, but this email got my attention so I went to see the site. What I saw as the merchant in China trying to sell knock off items. One of the items was iPhone like GSM telephone. It looks exactly like it. I do not know if it works but this is a complete knock off of the Apple iPhone. No wonder China has a bad reputation regarding IP protection.

But if Chinese can make iPhone like telephone for this price, how much profit is Apple making by selling the real iPhone?

Why don't you write something???

thread
Why don't you write something...
When you are blogging, sometime you have nothing to write. You want to inform readers about something you know. You want to educate them as much as you can. So, you spend a lot of time thing about what you are going to write.

WRONG!

People don’t really care about what you know. They would like to know you before they will listen to you. Save the speech to some other times and just write what in your mind. Some people agree and some don’t. That is Okay.

It is important for you to write something than nothing. If you really nothing to write, post a picture you took from last trip. Oh, this is a picture of Mt. Baker (I thing) I took from the car last Friday. As you can see, I have nothing to write, but I made you read this. So, what are you waiting, write something. Nobody will bite, usually.

Japanese Noodle Shop Downtown Bellevue

thread
Japanese Noodle Shop Downto...
There is new restaurant called MY BOOM in Bellevue Square. It is Japanese noodle shop right next to Blue Sea Sushi. As a matter of facts, same people may own both restaurants because they are connected inside.

The food tasted okay, but they are expensive. $9.95 for a bowl of noodle? Even in Tokyo, it does not cost that much, unless it is something special. Believe me, the food there was nothing special. They are not bad, but nothing special. Do I go there again? I might, but no so casually.
