『ヒョータンかぼちゃ』　と言うよりも　『ヘチマかぼちゃ』ですよね。

偶然にも、この日の１０月５日、大分合同新聞朝刊に、

『ひょうたんカボチャ』　の記事が掲載されていました。


「鶴首南京」　（つるくびなんきん）と言い、

その形から　「ひょうたんカボチャ」　とも呼ばれ、

細長い首の部分は果肉のみで、丸く膨らんだ部分に種が入っている。

果肉は濃いオレンジ色で、甘くて美味しいらしい。
