The Graduate

thread
The Graduate
Last weekend I finally got round to watching the famous 1967 movie, The Graduate. I really liked it.

A young Dustin Hoffman
Simon & Garfunkel
A red Alfa Spider
Scenes full of retro
Pathos & humour
A bitter-sweet ending
These are a few of my favourite things!

I bought a used copy of the book by Charles Webb in Australia & brought it to Japan with me, but when I started reading it, I discovered it was missing some pages. I was quite disappointed.

So I can`t recommend the book yet, but I can recommend the movie.

Unfortunately, I've never watched the movie. So, if I would got a chance to watch the movie, I would do it.
It is regrettable that you couldn't read the book which you had brought to Japan.
There is such a thing happened.

Yes - please look for it next time you go to the DVD rental store!

When I bought this book, I bought a lot of old, used books at the same time and place (they were VERY cheap). No pages were missing from any of the other ones that I bought, so I guess I`m pretty lucky.
