I love traditional Japanese black, cast-iron teapots.

I have a couple (which I bought at Osu Kanon markets) at home in Australia.

This is a picture (20 x 30 cm woodblock print) I did of them.

I see it at first time. Do you use them at home in Australia? Do you use any Japanese black, cast-iron teapot? I use a teapot of earthenware. But recently I've poured the hot water directly into the cup when I've drunk tea because of useing powder tea.

Actually, I don`t use my Japanese teapots - they are just for collecting & decoration, but I bought one for my mother, & she uses it sometimes, if guests visit.

Nowadays I just use a mug & teabag...
