８日、＜トランプ次期米大統領＞は公表された米ＮＢＣテレビのインタビューで、就任すれば連邦準備制度理事会（ＦＲＢ）の＜パウエル議長＞の交代を目指すかと問われ、「考えていない」と明言しました。

＜トランプ次期大統領＞は政権１期目に金融緩和を要求し、＜パウエル（ＦＲＢ）議長＞と対立。解任すら検討したとされています。

＜パウエル（ＦＲＢ）議長＞は記者会見で、＜トランプ次期大統領＞に辞任を求められても応じない意向を明らかにしていました。
