Prayer requests for the Clarks -- Of course, our main request is for complete healing for Hiro, and for protection from the worst of the side effects (like burning where the drugs go in). Also please pray:
(1) For Hiro to get used to his meds and to stop fighting so hard when the nurses bring them. The nurses say it's hard for all the kids, but they have to get used to them since these meds will be needed daily for the next couple of years. We can't water them down with jello or anything!
(2) For Hiro to get used to the nurses. They're all great. But he sees them as the enemy since they cause pain.
(3) For Makoto to get used to our new life because he doesn't understand what's happening.
(4) For Wakako and me as we both try to survive day by day and also start to think about our plans for 2013 -- things like a weekly schedule for Makoto, how to create time for Makoto and Wakako, how to adjust our work schedule and plans, etc.
(5) Parking! The hospital lot is almost always full. Today I got there at just the right time -- took the last space, but had to squeeze into a crazy-small spot. It seems there are no monthly car spaces available near the hospital and even if one opens up, too many long-term patients' family members want it. I don't want to spend my visitation time waiting in my car for a space.
(6) Wakako asked for prayer to be able to experience God's peace, comfort and grace. Please pray for her energy and sleep, too, as she's with Hiro full-time.
(7) Tomorrow we hope Wakako can get out with Makoto. Pray that goes well, and Hiro will let me hold him. He just wants mama!
(8) For Makoto's ear infection (which both boys were initially diagnosed with) to get completely well and for Wakako, Makoto and me to stay healthy. (We'll be getting flu shots in the next few days.)

❶ヒロキが薬の服用に慣れるように。今後数年間は服用し続けなくてはなりません。
❷ヒロキが看護婦に慣れるように。苦痛を与える看護婦を敵のように思っています。ケアのためには慣れなくてはなりません。
❸まことが新しい生活に慣れるように。今の状態を2歳では理解できていません。
❹Timとワカコが日々サバイブできるように。来年のスケジュール計画に良い知恵が与えられるように。まこととワカコのために時間を取り、働きのための時間もやり繰りできるように。
❺病院の駐車場のために。いつも満杯で空きスペース見つけるのに大変苦労しています。車を止めることのために時間を浪費したくありません。
❻ワカコが祈って欲しいリクエストです。「神様の平安と慰め、恵みを体験できるように。ヒロキと全時間共にいる彼女に力が与えられて眠ることができるように。」
❼明日ワカコがまことを連れて久々に外出します。ヒロキは私と共に過ごしますが、まだまだママが欲しい子です。
❽ 2人の子供たちの耳のinfectionが癒されるように。私たちは皆最近、インフルエンザ注射を受けました。まことや私の健康が支えられるように。
