子離れができていない

今日のシアトルは初夏を思わせるほど気温がぐんぐんと上がりました。長袖シャツで外を歩いていると汗ばむほどです。
こんな日は湖で遊ぶのが1番です。
魔女たちはカヤックで湖に漕ぎ出し、自ら転覆して泳いだとのこと。私は真冬の湖に飛び込むことはしましたが、カヤックで転覆するだなんて事は怖くてできません。きっとパニックを起こすはずです。
水温は耐えられないほどに冷たくはなくて、100メートルほどは泳ぐことができました。
魔女のお姉さんはガーデン作りに精を出しています。
今日は玉ねぎの種を植えたようです。
今回も自家製のおやつや夕食を振る舞ってくれました。
やがてこのお家で出されるほとんどの野菜原料は自家製となるようです。
息子の大学進学にあたり私自身が子離れできるか気がかりなのですが、既に娘からは子離れができていないようです。
