祈るバリの女性像

　スウェーデンはロストランド窯の「祈るバリの女性」のフィギャリンである。時代は1943-45年、作家はHarald Salomonである。1931年のフランス・パリで行われた植民地博覧会で初めてバリ島のガムラン音楽が演奏されたが、その前から、バリ島は神々の島として世界的に有名であった。
　清楚な雰囲気と細かいところまで表現された素晴らしい作品だと思う。

この頃のブームだったのですね。DJの"Evening prayer"を持っていますがそっくりです。上半身が隠れている分こちらの方が清らかさは感じますね。
