No more Firefox

thread
No more Firefox
At PSPINC, we have banned the use of Firefox browser. We now asked everyone in Research and Development and Web Design to use Internet Explorer as their browser. There are people who hate this change. But it was necessary when some of the products that we have developed worked fine on Firefox and not on IE.

Firefox might be more flexible, but we must consider the market size of the browsers. So we have decided to ban the use of Firefox and asked everyone to uninstall it from the computer.

Now everyone is using IE except me.

No, I am not using Firefox. I uninstalled it from my Mac. There is no IE for Mac, so I am now using Safari. It is not too bad. It actually works very much like Firefox. Now, there is no more excuse saying, “It worked on Firefox.”

I use Firefox as my main web browser. I have adopted it since my brother who is quite the IT guy dislikes IE with a passion, he prefers Firefox or Opera. I guess Firefox and Opera are popular for IT guys huh? I don't know that I care for IE, but I think Safari is cool....I have a PC, but I also own a Mac processor. Currently my Mac is in storage. I wonder if I should sell it...

IT guys like Firefox ... I think it is a wonderful software ... but the majority of the market is IE whether we like it or not. So as software developer, we must work with IE. Now IE 8.

What kind of Mac do you have?
