I underwent a CT Scan last Friday and patiently waited for a week for my doctor's visit. It's been almost two years since I had over 1/3 of my liver removed due to cancer. The medical team is closely monitoring two areas for any signs of cancer recurrence. One is 11mm in size, and the other is even smaller. Despite being uncertain about their nature, they have remained unchanged in size for over a year.
To rule out the possibility of cancer, a biopsy may be considered, but the challenge lies in the small size of these areas. Currently, there is no observable change, and there are no indications of recurring cancer. Living with the experience of cancer can sometimes feel like carrying a time bomb ... mentally.
