This is a day 50 from Pompom's first chemotherapy. It is a milestone.

Pompom sometimes gags/chokes but other wise he is doing well. This gaging is not really related to the lymphoma he is fighting. Small dogs gets their windpipe narrowed as they age. There is no treatment for it except there is a treatment to put mesh in the windpipe but it is not proven 100% safe and effective.

It was the Super Moon Last Night

What is Super Moon?

A Super Moon is a full moon or a new moon that approximately coincides with the closest distance that the Moon reaches to Earth in its elliptic orbit, resulting in a larger-than-usual apparent size of the lunar disk as seen from Earth.

In addition ... This year January and March will have Blue Moon.

What is Blue Moon?

It is a second full moon in a calendar month.

Pompom comes to work with me every day for last 15 years.
We walk together in the morning for 15 years.

It has been 7 weeks since we started chemotherapy on Pompom. Although, he sometimes gags, he is doing a lot better than 7 weeks ago. Yes, he has made it to 2018.

Happy New Year - Year of the Dog 2018

Happy New Year!!!
This is a Year of The Dog ... And we started this year with this dog story.

I hear RING (Motion Sensor Door Bell) rang this morning and I found a tis lovely "Goldendoodle" outside of my house. I went and called "Come Here" ... He came. There was no dog collar so I decided to take him to Seattle Humane near my house.

There were people there and they scan for a microchip and found one. We were able to contact the owner and they came right away. So we were able unite the lost dog with the owner this morning.

This is a great story for a year of the dog, isn't it. He runaway from home last night about 11:00pm due to the fireworks. So he was lost for about 12 hours. For a while, I will have another dog. But this is a better end to the story.

I do not know how long Pompom can be healthy but I am happy to report he is doing well. Thank you for all for your kind words. He is here!

Day 47 New Year's Eve

We have only few hours left in this year.
The chemo Pompom had yesterday did not effect him at all.
He slept and ate well today.

I am very happy to Pompom with us at the end of the year.
This year has not been a good year for Pompom but he made it.

Wework Coworking Space in Bellevue

Dogs are welcome here too.

This is my first trip to wework. I understand why younger people would like to work in the place like this.

Two Biggest Things This Year

Those are the two things that comes to my mind.

(1) My daughter got a job at IT company in NY.

(2) My dog got sick and almost died.

I am very happy to have both here for the end of year and new year.

I am here!

Pompom just completed his 7th chemotherapy this morning. Today's chemo was an oral application which is the same as what he got the first time. This one worked well with very little or no side effect.

Next Saturday morning will be his 8th and final weekly chemotherapy. After that it will be biweekly. Doctor was really happy see this progress and told me that she gain her belief in the medicines now because of Pompom. I am very happy to hear this.

I think Pompom will make it to 2018. That would have been unthinkable 46 days ago.
