iPad Email Problem

When you setup mail to receive email with iPad, the software lock up the mailbox on the server. So you cannot share same email account with other computers.

You need to create a new email account for iPad and have your email forwarded to the new account.

I just received the iPad today. So far I synced all my contacts, calendars and email and reading Japanese newspaper online.

I just received the email from General Motors saying they paid back the government loan 5 year ahead of schedule. Good for them!

I really feel sad. General Motors ... once the largest company in the world is now down to just 4 brand of cars. They still heavily invested in SUV and Trucks.

Even with all the problems Toyota faced, GM still has a long ways to go to catch up with Toyota. I really hope GM will come out strong. I hope they will listen to what consumers are saying and develop cars that people want.

We are now done with web site redesign, we can now start releasing new clock designs. The first one is out today.

I ordered the iPad on April 12th. I just got a notice that it will arrive on April 26th. It is taking two weeks. Whats funny is that there are few more items that I ordered not being shipped at this point. Mainly, the iPad case is taking more time than the iPad itself.

We have installed a card reader at the new entry way. Our security system is installed, maintained and monitored by Washington Alarm, another Seattle Executives Association member company.

Problem with Microsoft Server Update

On April 16th, the Windows update caused all email service definition to be erased completely causing the service to shut down. We can not trust Microsoft to fix their own problem without introducing more problems.

I will try to replace Microsoft components with our own starting next week.
