Little Black Cabooses

thread
Little Black Cabooses
One of Owen`s favourite books is The Little Red Caboose, so he was excited when we found two black cabooses near Ogaki Station. I`ve also seen the same type of caboose outside Leaf Walk Shopping Centre in Inazawa. I think they look pretty cool - old, tough & practical, but also kind of cute. Just like me! Right? Right? No?

Is it famous? I know only one 'Thomas the Tank Engine' which my nephews like.
So, is it outside Leaf Walk? I've not noticed it until now. When I will go there, I will see it.
Anyway, you should be careful when you take Owen's photo, I think, I siggest.

When Australia used steam trains, the caboose was called the guard's van. It carried mail and some other goods. There was a built-in animal cage for a dog or goat etc. The guard looked after the animal until it was delivered. Mum
