Challenge!
My kids are so clever & skillful. They are good at (とくい) lots of things e.g. making a mess, getting dirty, & breaking things. They broke this thing, so I fixed it with a pair of small screws.

What is it? Can you guess?

I`ll put the answer in comments in a week.

Vocabulary:

`Broke` usually means こわれた (過去形動詞) but it can also mean 金のない (形容詞), so: "Can you lend me some money?" "Sorry, my kids broke all their toys, so I had to buy new ones. Now I`m broke"

Hi,OTTO

I gave up to guess.

I had thought the answer for a week,
however Icouidn't find it.

in a house
as usuall
something tune
an end or a top
not big
kids can touch
the item has gap?
・・・・・
also
kids broke it → not highly place

It must be a trivialy part but
the machine doesn't work well
without the item.

I just say
how nice topic.

Oh, Taiki - you thought hard about it, didn`t you? I hope not while using dangerous machinery...

You were right about this object - it`s common, it can turn etc.
