《襍木・/・古往今来192》檀の実

マユミ（檀、真弓）ニシキギ科（Celastraceae）
学名：Euonymus sieboldianus Bl.

秋にできる赤い種、遠目に見ると赤い花が咲いているように見える。
春咲くまゆみの花は、とても地味で余り関心が持たれないようだ。
今どき、一寸・・山間に登るとオオツリバナやこのマユミの赤い実が見れる。
秋を実感できる風景だ。マユミは、字のごとく弓を作る材料に使われた由。
