奥紅葉白熊《襍草・/・古往今来207》

オクモミジハグマ（奥紅葉白熊）キク科（Asteraceae/Compositae）
学名：Ainsliaea acerifolia Sch.Bip. var. subapoda Nakai

首都圏の山岳地等でごく普通に見られる地味な植物。
山地の木陰に見られ、葉がモミジに似ている事で名付けられた。
ハグマ（白熊）とは、ヤクの尾の毛のことだとか。
仏具の払子（ほっす）や槍、兜などの飾りにする。
オクモミジハグマは、全国に自生してるらしいが、
モミジハグマは近畿地方以西に分布し葉が掌状に浅裂～中裂する。
