学名：Clerodendrum trichotomum Thunb.
[英名] harlequin glorybower, Japanese clerodendrum

クサギ（臭木）;
クサギの花は、前に掲載したと思うが、白くて清楚な花をつける。
臭木と言うだけあって葉を揉んだりするとちょっと臭いがする。
悪臭と言うほどのものではない。以前はクマツヅラ科、今はシソ科とされる。
黒っぽい青紫の実や周りの赤い花弁に見えるガク（萼）、秋模様で綺麗。

植物の色を眺めていますと、和装の色組み合わせを思います。絶妙な雰囲気が醸しだされていますよね。。。！感心しきりで観ていて飽きません。
