　ビング＆グレンダールの西洋ナナカマド風景文大花瓶である。ユニカ作家のクララ・ニールセンが絵付けをしている。最初、紫陽花かなと思ったが、葉の形が異なるので、調べたところ、おそらく、西洋ナナカマドだろうという結論に達した。西洋ナナカマドは、英語名をRowanといい、北欧の言葉で魔除けを意味するらしい。遠景に家が描かれているので、北欧にも風水のようなものがあるのかもしれない。とても、綺麗な絵付けで、迫力がある。

ぱっと見て紫陽花かなと思いましたが、ナナカマドという花なのですね。 
生で見たらもっと迫力が伝わってきそうです。
