This email is not from American Express. This email is sent to get my information. From time to time, you receive email like this one. Do not click on them.

You must take a look at where email came from first. If it is not the domain name you trust, through it away. Also, if you click them and it open a browser, take a look at the domain name.

It is called phishing and you may receive this type of email from not only financial institutions, but hosting companies, shipping companies, logistics companies and government agencies like IRS. Be very careful.
