I went to the Oregon Coast over the weekend. It's been years since I last saw the Pacific Ocean from the American side. Why is there no one on this beach in Seaside, Oregon, especially on a weekend? This town is known for its famous outlet mall, but when I went there, I found that there were only a few stores and no customers. This doesn't look good.
米国の西海岸にあるワシントン州だから太平洋に近いと思うかもしれないが、シアトルの面している海は内海（Puget Sound）で太平洋ではない。太平洋を見ようとすると車で1時間以上走らないといけない。
週末オレゴンコーストまで行ってきた。太平洋をアメリカ側から見るのは何年ぶりだろう。このビーチ（Seaside Oregon）には人がいないのはなぜ。週末なのに。この街には有名なアウトレットモールがある・・・行ってみたら店が少なくて・・・お客もいない。こりゃだめだ。
