One of the most effective ways to make your Blog more popular is to create a link to other site or your own web page.

To create a link, you need to use HTML. HTML is the computer langauge that browsers understand. And here is the how you write a link.

When you write HTML above on your blog, it will display like this:

THIS IS MY COMPANY

You must put URL starting with http inside the "". Try it, You can use this on your blog space, FREE Space and Profile Space on Bloguru.

1st Bloguru Seminar

We hosted the Bloguru seminar at PSPINC today. I was expecting about 8 people, but we received 22 RSVPs and there were more than 30 people. After the seminar I sent 10 invitations to Bloguru. I was really surprised to see so many people there.

It will be wonderful if those people sign up with Bloguru and start blogging. People who attended were the members of Seattle Executives Association. There are 111 members. If they all join Bloguru and start commenting on each other, Bloguru will be one popular business address on the net. It will be wonderful.

I belong to an association called SEATTLE EXECUTIVES ASSOCIATION. It is a 90-year-old business networking and lead generation organization. We joined the association in 2003. They are dynamic and very active organization.

However, most businesses are very slow (including ourselves) to act when it comes to using the Internet for business such as blogging. So, to help people jumpstart, we announced that we are putting together an hour seminar on how to open and maintain BLOGURU tomorrow. We are having the open house tomorrow 4 to 7pm for Seattle Executives Association. And the seminar will be 3 to 4pm. I was expecting handful of people to sign up. But as of tonight, we now have 18 people signed up. WOW. I now really prepare for it.

I will let you know how it went tomorrow.

Macintosh is now 30 Years Old

10 years ago, in April, Apple release 20th Anniversary Macintosh. It really was ahead of its time. It had LCD display, BOSE sound system, and frontloading CD player

Now there is talk about Apple possibly releasing 30th Anniversary Macintosh this month. Wouldnt that be fun?

Lunch with CEO

I had lunch with Jeff Riley, CEO of Dinerware. Dinerware is a new member of Seattle Executives Association which my company is a member since 2003.

Dinerware develops and distributes Point of Sales (POS) system for restaurants. He told me the company has grown 50% last year. That is amazing. They now have distribution in Canada, Europe and Australia. I will take a look at their system to see if we can help them distribute their system in Japan and Korea.

Breakfast at IKEA.

I went to IKEA this morning. Because I have a dog and I did not want to leave my dog in the car in the sun. IKEA has a covered parking which is cool. The picture shows the food we had a IKEA. The breakfast in the right is only $1.99 Great deal. I had meatballs, mashed potato and salad for $6.49.

I guess I will use IKEA a lot more as it get hot in Seattle. Does anyone know any restaurant that has a great shaded place to park the car with a dog inside?

I have opened the account in twitter.com and used it for two days. I watched videos about twittering and tried to understand the meaning of it.

I felt it i not for me. I don't understand it, nor I want to. So I closed my twitter account. I don't get it.So, good bye little blue bird!

Good-Bye to Inactive Users

332 user of English Bloguru.com will be deleted today. Those people have not posted anything on the site for more than 1 year. Unlike other blogging services, the revenue of advertisement does not operate Bloguru.com. Therefore there is no reason for us inflate the number of users.

We are trying very hard to provide the best service possible to smaller number of users. You will start to see more features one the English version catches up to Japanese version.

Not too good for my diabetes.

I had a Chicken Caesar Wrap at Red Robin last night. I guess the Caesar Wrap was not too bad bat the stake fries werent too good for my diabetes. My blood sugar was high this morning. I should not have eaten those fries.

But those fries were sure good. Why is that everything that tastes so good are bad for your health? Anyhow, I guess I will stay away from the fries for a while.
