What is common sense? It’s often said that not killing people is an easy one. However, there have been times in history when murder wasn’t seen as a crazy act. When you think about the history of humanity, there’s never been a time without “legitimate” killings, like the existence of wars and battles.
The idea of what’s considered common sense changes depending on the context. The Internet has changed the world as we know it. Media, in the form of newspapers, TV, and/or radio, used to be the only tool used to distribute information. Now, anyone with a smartphone can send out information whenever they want no matter where they are.
In addition to traditional media, using social networking services (SNS) has become a norm in our society. As a result, people are starting to question the common sense of taking in information from traditional media as always being correct. Now, we’re questioning if the news we receive from newspapers, TV, radio, and even social media sites, is true or not.
As the Internet continues to change, common sense will continue to change alongside it. With it, a new common sense will be born. What an interesting time we live in.

There is a Japanese proverb that says, "If you hate a monk, you will hate his Kasaya.” It means, if you hate something, you’ll hate everything associated with it.
When Donald Trump was president, many people did not like him. Which was obvious given the amount of anti-Trump content that was constantly reported in the media. As a result, we elected Joe Biden as our new president in the 2020 election. And since becoming president, Biden has retracted everything that President Trump has done.
Currently, the U.S. is experiencing unprecedented inflation, shortages, labor shortages, unemployment, foreign policy problems, falling stock prices, corona expansion, illegal immigration, and many other negative trends. This isn’t necessarily Biden's fault, but much of it seems to be the result of reversing President Trump's policies.
I think President Trump’s presidency had its problems, especially with communication, but was it right to cancel all of his policies? Even if you don't like President Trump, I think you should recognize good policies as good policies. On the other hand, President Biden, whose approval rating is low right now, should be careful in the future about reversing all of Trump’s previous policies.
