MY CD has APY of whopping 0.10%

I had a six month CD with Bank of America with APY of 1.0% which matured early Feb. They send me a letter saying, if I do not do anything, I will be renewing it for next 6 months. At least that is what I thought.

I got a letter today that my CD now has an APY of 0.10%. That is 1/10 of what I was getting. I went to B of A brach and found out that if I did not renew it personally, they will renew it for me at the most advantageous rate for B of A. What with that?

It costed me $4 to cancel my CD and I put money in the savings now. I am going to look for something that has better return than 0.10%. That should not be too difficult.

The base installation of generators are complete at the headquarters. But we still need to have fueling station (requested by city of Bellevue) built. The entire project is on time but it seems like taking forever.

I got a new BlackBerry

I reported the breakage to the Verizon insurance company last night. The new phone arrived this morning. It took only few minuets to setup the new phone and is working now. It cost us $89 as a deductible. It is still high, but it is better than $400 I paid last time.

Okay ... I broke my cellular phone again. This time, I left it in the golf bag. When the bag fell, the LCD display was broken. I seem to break my phone every few months. I am the only one in my company that carries the insurance for my cellular phone. Good this I have this insurance.

I need a phone that is

- water proof

- shock resistant

- Mac compatible

- Able to read QR Code
