Mai-Pen-Rai Thai Restaurant
Finally a Thai restaurant has opened in central Ichinomiya! It`s called Mai-Pen-Rai, which means `nevermind` in English, or `shoganai` in Japanese. It`s just in front of Ichinomiya Station.

I went there with my wife on the weekend. We ordered Moo Larb (spicy pork salad), Som-tum (papaya salad), & Tom-kah-gai (a kind of coconut milk soup with chicken). Mmmm... delicious!

You are happy, aren't you? The dishes sound like yummy!! I will go to the restaurant some day. But the supicy food are not well for me. Mmmm... Anyway, it is good for Ichinomiya where are a lot of nice restaurants. from michiko

Thai food is famous for being spicy, but there are non-spicy dishes too, such as Pad Thai (fried noodles), Kow Mun Gai (chicken on rice) and of course desserts!

I looked at the homepage of the restaurant.It has a nice atmosphere. I'd like to go there.

Yes, the atmosphere is good. When we went, they were playing jazz & blues, not Thai music, but I think it suited this restaurant`s mood.
