Shikoku Henro 2012, Day 2

thread
Shikoku Henro 2012, Day 2
Day 2 was the toughest day of our trip - we had to climb a big mountain. Sometimes we rode, sometimes we walked, and sometimes I just sat down by the side of the road, ate a mandarin [mikan] (Ehime prefecture is famous for mandarins) and cried for a while. It was hard work.

But coming down the other side was fun.

As you can see, the leaves have started changing colour in some places.

Wow! You are great! These change leaves are so beautiful! What was the weather like? Anyway, I think your legs maybe have a pain now... Just take care of yourself.

Yes, the leaves were beautiful - more beautiful in real life than in my photographs.
The weather was good - it only rained once, but at night, so no problem. Also there was little wind, which was good - I hate cycling in windy weather!
I`m surprised - my legs don`t hurt at all. Maybe coming soon...?

You don't have a pain in your legs? That's good! I think you are always commuting by your bicycle, so your legs already have built up! :)

what name is the mountain? In the fifth picture, the place was a little high? It looks like a high palace, so it is a bit scared. And it is made to overwhelm to a lot of stone images. Why do only one stone image ware the red apron?
