カラスノゴマ（烏の胡麻）　アオイ科（Malvaceae）
学名：Corchoropsis tomentosa (Thunb.） Makino
Corchoropsis crenata Siebold et Zucc.

カラスノゴマ（烏の胡麻）；
カラスノゴマは、道端や水田に生え、草丈は直立し高さ30～90㎝前後になる。
葉は互生し、卵形で裏面にたくさんの白毛の星状毛がある。
和名は、種子をカラスが食べるゴマに例えたものといわれている。
旧分類ではシナノキ科 Tiliaceaeに属したが、新分類（APG）ではアオイ科に含まれている。
花は秋、葉腋から1つの黄色い花を咲かせる。花柄は3ｃｍ程で垂れ横から下向きに咲く。
花弁は5枚、長さ約8㎜の倒卵形。萼片は5枚、線状披針形、反り返る。
雄蕊は5～15個。その内側にある長い5個は仮雄蕊。
